What is BlueOnyx?
BlueOnxy is the name of the project for porting Cobalt management software as used on the Sun/Cobalt RaQ550 servers, which has been released as open source software, to other hardware. This project started in June of 2003, by Cobalt Users Group, and is now used widely under the name of BlueOnyx which we host on top of the CentOS or Scientific Linux distributions.
